Biography

Beto Fame is a visual artist, painter, muralist, and architect who graduated from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. His art emerges from the interaction between architecture, nature, and perception, exploring the complexity of the contemporary world.

His research and artistic production are based on the urban landscape as a living organism, revealing itself through constantly evolving layers. The urban space, with its chaos and conceptual atmosphere, serves as an exploration ground for his artistic expeditions, where he gathers elements, images, emotions, and memories that bring his works to life. This relationship with the urban environment is a constant in his work, reflecting his life journey and artistic career.

Beto began his career painting large murals, an experience that provided him with expertise and mastery of spray techniques, enabling him to reproduce his art on a grand scale in urban interventions. This early stage not only developed his technical skills but also forged a deep connection with the streets, where he spent countless hours interacting with the city. Over time, his practice evolved into painting and collage, incorporating urban, philosophical, Brazilian, and Latin American symbols.

The construction process of his works is based on the concept of collage and the superimpo- sition of visual planes, resulting in abstract compositions and landscapes that represent reality transformed into imaginative scenarios. His art explores the conflicts between nature and human constructions, creating a visual narrative that reflects the tension between the natural and the artificial in the urban landscape.
